This is a truly impressive and imposing piece of Western-themed lighting, likely dating from the late 20th century and designed to capture the authentic rustic aesthetic of a ranch or lodge. The massive fixture is constructed primarily of heavy gauge, dark-patinated steel and features a circular frame, often referred to as a “wagon wheel” style, though this specific design incorporates silhouetted metal cutouts depicting classic Western motifs: a cowboy with chaps, a bronc rider, and a covered wagon. The top portion appears to be an elaborate fan or windmill-blade design in a dark metal finish, adding an additional layer of complexity and texture. The lighting is provided by six lamps positioned around the perimeter, each topped with a small, rustic, fabric-like shade, plus a central down-light with a white dome diffuser. Overall, the piece presents with a desirable heavy, weathered, and aged patina typical of rustic decor, showing surface rust, dust, and minor surface wear consistent with being stored or displayed in a working environment. The structural components appear solid. H 32″, W 56″, D 56″. From the Western display in Donley’s Wild West Town.
