Lot 2525:
Description
This vintage Southwestern sterling silver bypass ring, heavily indicative of mid-to-late 20th-century Navajo craftsmanship, showcases a vibrant turquoise cabochon with a touch of dark matrix alongside a polished Mediterranean red coral branch piece. The robust, split-shank setting is richly detailed with traditional hand-stamped leaf overlays and decorative silver raindrops finished with a deep, original oxidized patina in its recesses. The interior band features a stamped “Sterling” mark, an incised size “10”, and a distinct pictorial maker’s mark resembling an arrowhead or a profile silhouette. Objectively, the ring is in excellent vintage condition with minor surface wear and a beautiful natural patina consistent with age, keeping both stones completely secure within their serrated bezels. H 1″, W 1″, D 1″. Please see photos for condition.
