This primitive-style hand-carved wooden war club reflects a blend of traditional tribal influences, most closely mirroring the Eastern Woodlands ball-headed clubs of North America. The piece is characterized by a dense, dark-stained hardwood construction and a distinctive bulbous head inset with a tapered, rusted iron spike—a common modification seen in 18th and 19th-century frontier weapons to increase lethality. The shaft features a flared pommel for a secure grip, suggesting it was designed as a functional striking tool or a high-quality ceremonial folk-art recreation.
