# 5681 Class. Nice chocolate brown color. Barely fits on end of mandrel. Marked Edison Bell Indestructible Record on lead edge. While Thomas Edison’s American company famously resisted using celluloid for many years, the British Edison Bell company took a different approach. They partnered with the Lambert Company of Chicago to acquire the rights to produce durable, plastic-like celluloid cylinders. Record in VG original condition. Comes with original Edison Bell box with lid in fair to poor condition. From the Allen Koenigsberg collection.
