Description
An early brown wax phonograph cylinder featuring the comedic song “Pat Malone Forgot That He Was Dead,” noted as being performed by a “Mr. Petering” of Chicago and associated with the Chicago Talking Machine Co. circa 1895–1897. The lot includes two handwritten reference notes detailing its history. The cylinder is in good, stable condition with no detrimental cracks or scratches visible across its grooved surface.
