Louis Vuitton FDR Jr Travel Bag Saks Fifth Avenue, 1970s, manufactured by the French Luggage Co, classic LV monogram coated canvas with natural vachetta leather trim and handles, soft-sided folding design, brass hardware and reinforced top handle, Saks Fifth Ave tag on top and monogrammed “F.D.R. Jr.”, may have belonged to Franklin Delano Roosevelt Jr. (1914-1988), the fifth child of President Roosevelt and Eleanor, typical well-used wear, scuff marks, aged leather, zippers and snaps work, includes a small attached pouch with keys, good condition, see photos.
I’m sure this bag has seen things and traveled to many places. If only it could talk…
