Singer Model 20 Hand-Crank Sewing Machine, famous miniature sewing machine referred to as the “Sewhandy”, Singer marketed these as “real” machines rather than toys to convince parents they were investing in practical skills for their children, made of heavy cast iron, produced a simple, single-thread chain stitch, reflects Singer’s goal of building brand loyalty from a young age so children would eventually graduate to full-sized machines, appears to be complete, no instructions, comes with original box in worn condition, see photos.
