Description
This is a spectacular example of a top-tier vintage road machine, featuring a fully chromed steel frame that highlights the exquisite lug work around the head tube and bottom bracket. Built for serious performance, it is outfitted with a prestigious suite of components, including a Campagnolo Nuovo Record rear derailleur, Campagnolo crankset with integrated pedals and leather straps, and Campagnolo brake calipers. The bicycle is further elevated by a classic Ideale 39 leather saddle of French origin and Simplex dropouts. While the high-polish chrome finish remains in excellent condition and should clean up beautifully, the bicycle is currently in untested, “as-found” condition. The tires are flat and not holding air, and there is minor surface wear and light oxidation consistent with age on some of the components. H 39″, W 18″, D 66″. Please see photos for condition.
