Vintage Motobécane Inter-Club Road Bike
This is a quintessential example of a French steel-frame road bicycle, specifically the “Inter-Club” model manufactured by Motobécane of Arras, France. Known for their balanced geometry and reliability, these mid-range bikes were a staple of the cycling boom, featuring lugs, a classic derailleur drivetrain, and a lightweight feel that enthusiasts still appreciate today. The frame is finished in a glossy black with distinctive red, white, and blue detailing, paired with alloy components including Weinmann brakes and SunTour derailleurs. The bike appears to be in very good, well-maintained vintage condition, exhibiting minimal signs of age-related wear, such as light surface scratches or minor patina on the metal components, consistent with careful storage and occasional use.
