Description
A vintage collectible tin toy from the 1950’s, this “Good Time Charlie” was a novelty classic of the time. Made by Illfelder, this Japanese battery-operated tin toy was designed for ages 17 years and up and features a happy-drunk character in a tuxedo, sitting on a “Dust Bin” while he drinks and smokes. The toy does show wear and staining on the fabric. Mechanically, the face does illuminate, however, the mechanical features do not work. This unique piece of mid-century toy history should appeal to any collector or vintage toy enthusiasts. Please see photos for overall condition. H 12.5″, W 6″, D 6″.
