Description
Antique Musical Rotating Christmas Tree Stand, by J.C. Eckardt, Germany, trademark stamp on top, nickel-plated cover, features a spring-driven clockwork motor, when wound with key, simultaneously rotates tree and plays Christmas carols, embossed metal dome set on a dark, wood base, a rotating peg holds a separate tree (not included) and three holes on top for the winding key, missing primary tree holder cup and winding key, some dents and dings, small hole in top, minor corrosion, winds up and plays, “JC Eckardt Gannistat 1902 D.R.G.M.” stamped on winding mechanism, lid is no longer attached to base, rough condition, winds up and plays Silent Night, see photos.
