Description
Made by The Standard Metal Mfg. Co. of Newark, New Jersey circa 1904-5 for cylinder phonographs. Similar horns are shown on pages 21 & 22 of the Fabrizio / Paul book Phonograph Accessories and Contraptions. Features a black body with hand painted flowers. The flowers are in good shape and there is about 30% paint loss to the black. Brass bell in VG condition with just a few small dings. Connection end OK but could use a little straightening. Has original Standard Metal Mfg. tag but missing wire hanging loop. Horn measures 36.75″ long with a 16.5″ diameter brass bell. Please note, horn size may affect shipping costs.
