Description
An exceptional turn-of-the-century ephemera lot featuring a scarce Brown Brothers Limited trade catalog detailing phonographs, Columbia graphophones, mechanical horns, and specialized replacement parts, published out of London and Paris. Pictured as included alongside the catalog are two rare early promotional booklets: the pink-covered Latest Columbia Records Supplement No. 2 (for “XP and Disc”) and a smaller Catalogue of Columbia Records booklet listing historical cylinder and disc selectionby iconic groups like Sousa’s Grand Concert Band, Gilmore’s Band, and the Band of H.M. Coldstream Guards. The collection shows expected age-related wear, including soft corner creasing, light surface smudges, minor edge tears, and gentle cover toning, though all text and crisp mechanical line illustrations remain highly legible and beautifully intact.
