Description
Dated Dec. 12, 1910 this typed letter is addressed to Mr. C.H. Wilson General Manager of the National Phonograph Co. and was sent by 2 inmates from the Trenton State Prison thanking him for sending the box of cylinder records for their Christmas entertainment and that they have enclosed several trinkets made by other prisoners as gifts of thanks. It is an extraordinary letter of praise for Edison and their Warden who has allowed them to own a phonograph. The letter is hand signed by the 2 inmates. In VG condition with folds.
