Description
Typed letter on Edison Phonograph North American stationery dated November 10th,1893 to Theo. Leonhardt & Son in Philadelphia from the Pittsburgh Typewriter Co. requesting a quote for a new letterhead. Pittsburgh Typewriter was supplying North American with typewriters for their commercial dictation outfits. This date was a pivotal period for Edison when all the lawsuits came down and forced North American into bankruptcy. So they must have known that change was at hand and were being proactive. Letter has been folded but is in VG condition. From the Allen Koenigsberg collection.
