Description

An exceptional find for the early talking machine enthusiast, this original 1905 advertising print features “The Flemish” Zon-O-Phone phonograph, a premium, short-lived model produced by the Universal Talking Machine Manufacturing Company of Camden, New Jersey. The advertisement showcases striking dual-tone orange and blue typography alongside a detailed central illustration of the phonograph’s Flemish-finish oak cabinet and its massive 24-inch horn. It is attractively presented within a protective paper mat and housed in a classic period-style stained oak wood frame. Objectively, the paper advertisement shows light horizontal fold lines across the center consistent with original mailing or publication formats, along with minor edge toning appropriate for its age. The oak frame remains sturdy with only light surface wear, minor scuffs, and small dings to the wood finish. H 13.5″, W 10″, D 1″. Please see photos for condition.
