Description

Beautiful brass National Cash Register model 532 custom built for a Garwin, Iowa music store. The manufacturers label on the bottom of the cash drawer shows that the register was built on 11-9-1914 for a George Jorgensen of Garwin, Iowa. Quick research shows that Jorgensen operated a music store in Garwin during that period. This register has separate department keys for Victor, Edison, and Columbia as well as for Records, and Sheet Music. In overall VG condition it has the Amount Purchased marquee, keys, a 1915 NCR calendar, and a NCR metal watch fob. The register works well via the included hand crank and displays the correct amounts. Measures 30.5″wide, 18.25″ deep, 29.5″ to the top of the marquee. No shipping on this item. Customer pickup or 3rd party transporter only. From the Allen Koenigsberg collection.
