Description
Nice all original Eldridge Johnson Type A “Victor” phonograph, manufactured circa 1900 by Johnson prior to his formation of the Victor Talking Machine Co. in Camden, NJ. Has the pre dog Victor nameplate. In overall VG+ condition. Oak wood and arm has VG original finish, plating is VG, original felt on turntable, original crank, Johnson New Century reproducer VG, motor winds and runs. 15” black body horn has a 9.75” diameter zinc bell that has been painted gold and is flaking. Original leather elbow in poor shape. Measures 18” long, 9” wide, 7” tall without the horn. From the Allen Koenigsberg collection.
