Description
One set comes in a dovetailed wood box stamped Decorative Lighting. Sides stamped Decorative Electric Lighting with Edison Miniature Incandescent Lamps. The ends are stamped General Electric Co. Harrison NJ U.S.A. The box has a slide off top which has a strand of lights that look to be either new or used very little. In the bottom of the box is a cardboard box with dividers in bad shape containing 35 red, green, and blue lamps. Most are VG but a few have flaking paint. On the bottom of the box in ink is written Christmas 1909. The box measures 13″ wide 6″ deep, 6.75″ tall. The other set is in a cardboard box called, “Santalites” with Edison Mazda Lamps. Made by the Royal Electric Co of Avon Mass. There are actually 2 different sets of 8lights in this box with 10 lamps total. Sets do not look to have original plugs. Great Christmas graphics on the box. Measures 11″ wide, 6″ deep, 1.5″ tall. From the Allen Koenigsberg collection.
