Description
The Lewis Phono-Consonator was an early 20th-century aftermarket acoustic attachment designed to modify and control the audio output of mechanical phonographs and Graphophones. Manufactured by the Lewis Manufacturing Company (located at 379 Sixth Avenue in New York City) around 1905 to 1907, it originally sold for $3.50. In VG original condition. Measures 3″ long, 2″ in diameter. From the Allen Koenigsberg collection.
