The Allen Koenigsberg Phonograph Collection
Lot 3077:
Description
Two early Edison recording tubes with flexible fabric-covered rubber hoses. One has its original black phenolic speaking tube and nickel-plated fitted end, with an old tape repair as well as some fraying and cracking in the tube. The other tube has two nickel-plated fitted ends most likely for a listening tube rail, and the usual wear on the fabric covering. See photos for details. Will fit Class M cylinder phonographs.
