Description
Nice oak cabinet stand for larger cylinder phonographs made by the Hawthorne & Sheble Co. of Philadelphia Penn. circa 1900. This size cabinet will fit most of the larger Edison and Columbia machines. Please note that this is not an “inset” style cabinet. The top measures 33″ wide X 15.25″ deep. It has 5 locking drawers (no key) for records but the wood pegs are gone. Also has a tall door for storage fitted for one shelf (missing). Drawers and door have matching cast brass hardware. The finish on the oak is mostly gone. The cabinet itself is wobbly and should be re glued. Overall measures 33″ wide, 15.25″ deep, 35″ tall. From the Allen Koenigsberg collection.
