Description
13 original 3.25″ X 4″ glass magic lantern slides from a lecture on Thomas Edison and his phonograph from about the late 1880’s. This is not a complete set and it is not known how many were originally in this lecture. It starts with a slide of Thomas Edison and has slides of an early tinfoil machine, a Class M phonograph, close ups of audio tracks, etc. All slides are in VG condition but need a good cleaning and are mounted in wood frames that slide in and out of the magic lantern. The overall stack measures 7″ wide, 4.25″ deep, 5.25″ tall. From the Allen Koenigsberg collection,
