Description
The Randall model 17 Astro is a no frills heavy duty knife designed for harsh environments. These were specially designed for the Mercury Astronauts to carry and examples are displayed in the Smithsonian. These feature a 7″ blade with stainless crossguard and Micarta handle with a hidden compartment inside the handle and tang to carry survival items. This knife comes with factory instructions, and correct factory sheath with sharpener, and is in excellent condition, but does have a few light handling marks/scratches, as does the sheath.
