Description
Springfield Model 1898 Krag Carbine. Carbine is presumed to be original factory built carbine, but could be later produced from parts. Carbine has been sporterized by checkering stock and adding pistol grip swell. Barrel is correct original length, but has been modified by removing factory front sight and drilling/ milling for new sight. Barrel has dark bore with decent rifling. Rifle comes with reproduction M1907 style rifle sling. Good restoration candidate. See photos.
