Firearms and Ammo Auction
Lot 1305c:
Description
Here is a classic “Dirty Harry” era Smith & Wesson Model 29-2 Double Action Revolver, chambered in the formidable .44 Magnum. Manufactured between 1974/1975, it features a 6-inch barrel with a pinned barrel and recessed cylinder. The firearm displays a deep, factory high-polish blued finish, color case-hardened trigger and hammer, and is fitted with checkered walnut brips bearing the S&W medallions. This lot is remarkably complete, including the original wooden presentation case with foam insert, the blue factory “Double Action Revolver” cardboard box, a leather holster, and the original owner’s manual. The revolver is in excellent, high-grade condition with a very faint cylinder turn line and minimal wear to the bluing or wood grips. The bore and rifling are mint. Mechanically, the action and trigger are tight and appear to function properly. The presentation case is just as nice of condition and is structurally sound. The leather holster is supple and very clean. Please see photos for overall condition. S/N: N723769. C&R Eligible.
