West German Walther P38 Pistol 9mm 308296 (C)
Classic West German Walther P38 semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm, manufactured by Carl Walther Waffenfabrik in Ulm/Do. This particular pistol features the Ulm “Antler” proof mark and a “66” date code on the frame, indicating a 1966 production year. It is fitted with attractive aftermarket checkered wooden target-style grips that provide a robust feel compared to the standard polymer. The slide is marked with the iconic Walther banner and the frame is marked “Made in West Germany,” representing the high-quality post-war production era of this legendary sidearm. The pistol is in very good overall condition with some light holster wear and thinning of the finish on the edges of the slide and barrel, consistent with age and careful use. The wooden grips show minor handling marks but remain structurally sound. Bore is clean and rifling is strong. Mechanically, the action and trigger are tight and appear to function properly. Pistol comes with one 8-round Walther marked magazine. No import marks! Please see photos for overall condition. S/N:308296. C&R Eligible.
