Firearms and Ammo Auction
Lot 1233:
Description
A fantastic example of mid-century American sporting history: Harrington & Richardson Model 960 Starter’s Revolver in .32 caliber blank. Manufactured in Worcester, Massachusetts, the box is notably marked “Worcester 2,” which dates this piece to the pre-ZIP code era between 1943 and 1963. This is a double-action revolver featuring a rich blued finish and distinct cream-colored grips bearing the H&R logo. It comes complete with its original factory box and a vintage box of Winchester .32 S&W blanks, making it a complete time capsule for the track and field enthusiast or H&R collector. The revolver is in excellent condition with strong finish retention and clean grips; the accompanying box shows expected shelf wear, edge scuffing, while the ammo box exhibits similar age-related wear. The trigger and action are tight and function properly. Please see photos for overall condition. L 7″, W 4,5″, H 1.75″
