Lot 1211:
Description
Made in Czechoslovakia, the CZ 52 is a single action, semi-automatic military surplus pistol produced between 1952 and 1954. It is widely recognized for its unique roller-locked short recoil mechanism, similar to that found in the German MG 42 machine gun, and its chambering for 7.62x25mm Tokarev cartridge. This particular pistol was made in 1953 and features a 4.5-barrel, fixed sights, a frame mounted safety/decocker, and two 8-round single stage magazines (one CZ marked). The serial number matches on the frame, slide, and barrel. Its packetized finish is 95% with some holster wear on the edges. The brown plastic grips are in good condition, showing light wear. Bore is shiny and rifling is strong. Import stamp is visible on the underside of the frame. Mechanically, the action and trigger are tight and appear to function properly. Pistol comes a nylon carrying case. Please see photos for overall condition. S/N: S17477. C&R Eligible.
