Description

Manufacture in 1926, this Winchester Model 1906 is a classic .22 caliber pump-action rifle, known for its use in shooting galleries and small-game hunting. Initially designed as .22 Short only rifle, it was later modified (around 1908) to fire .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Long Rifle cartridges. It features a 20-inch barrel, a tubular magazine, an exposed hammer, and a fixed blade front sight and adjustable rear sight. The wood butt stock and fore end are in fair condition, displaying marks and chips throughout, though both pieces are in solid condition. Metal displays remnants of its original finish but shows a patina and pitting. The tubular magazine does need repairs due to damage. Mechanically, the action needs adjusting/repair, but the trigger and hammer appear to functional property. Bore is dark and rifling is rounded. This is a perfect rifle for a restoration project. Comes with extra fore end. Please see photos for overall condition. S/N: NSN.
