Description
Here’s a nice, clean pistol for the Hi-Standard collector, a Hi-Standard Model 102 Supermatic Trophy, .22lr competition pistol. Part of the highly regarded 102 series, the Trophy was considered the top-of-line of High Standard’s target pistols. This Supermatic was manufactured in 1959 based off the serial number range. Known for its distinctive look, the Trophy gained recognition has a high accurate pistol that looked like a “Space Gun.” This particular pistol features a 9-inch barrel with a muzzle compensator and two adjustable barrel weights. The manufacturer markings are clearly visible on both sides of the frame, slide and barrel. It retains 98% of his high gloss blued finish, with minor wear on some edges. The plastic grips show little to no wear. Bore is clean and the rifling is crisp. Mechanically, the action and trigger are tight and appear to function properly.
