Description

This all matching Dreyse Model 1907, 5th Variant, 7.65mm (.32ACP) pistol was manufactured by Rheinmetall at the Sömmerda factory in 1921. Designed by Louis Schmeisser, this blowback-operated firearm was a staple for both police forces and military officers during World War I. The left side of the frame is clearly marked “DREYSE RHEINMETALL ABT. SÖMMERDA,” and the plastic grips feature the distinctive “RMF” monogram. This pistol displays several “Crown over N” proof marks on the slide and frame, consistent with German commercial production. Serial number “235590” is stamped into the frame, slide and barrel. The number “63” and “7” are also stamped on the top of the frame above the trigger. On the right side of the frame, near the rear site is the export stamping “Germany”. The original magazine bears no marking. This pistol is in good condition, retaining much of its original finish, with edge wear from holster use. The grips are in good condition, showing little wear. Bore is clean and the rifling is sharp. Mechanically, the trigger and action are tight and appear to function properly. Please see photos for overall condition S/N: 235590. C&R Eligible.
