Lot 304:
Description
This late 19th-century Victorian cruet set features a revolving silver-plated pedestal stand with a tall, decorative handle topped by a floral-scroll pierced finial. The set includes five etched glass bottles—two cruets with glass stoppers, two shakers with metal caps, and one mustard pot with a notched metal lid—each decorated with a matching frosted horizontal banding and foliate motif. The silver plate displays significant areas of oxidation, pitting, and loss of plating throughout the base and handle, and the metal bottle caps show heavy tarnish and surface wear consistent with age and use. One glass stopper appears to be a mismatch or replacement in style. H 16.25″ W 7.5″ D 7.5″. 8 overall pieces including 2 stoppers.
