Description
This collection features three distinct pieces of musical and decorative history. The musical rotating Christmas tree stand features a hallmark stamp depicting a figure carrying a tree with the word “GERMANY” inscribed below; it is constructed with a heavy, ornate metal base and a robust, intact spring-wound mechanism. Please note there are two teeth missing from the musical comb, which impacts the melody, and the winding key is not included. The Victorian-era parlor photo album is a charming centerpiece, featuring an embossed cover depicting a woman playing a violin. It includes an integrated music box mechanism that functions very well, though the internal photo sleeves remain empty. Rounding out the group is a decorative ceramic tile inlay depicting a winter landscape, housed within a carved wooden frame and featuring a side-mounted manual lever to engage the musical mechanism. All items show signs of age-appropriate wear, including minor surface oxidation on the metal components, slight scuffing on the wooden frames, and light fading on the album cover. H 14″, W 14″, D 5″.
