Description
This classic tobacciana collection features a handsome, heavy glass cigar humidor jar embossed with “Congress Cigar Co.” on the base, reflecting the storied history of American cigar production in the early 20th century. The jar measures approximately 5.75″ tall with a 6″ diameter and features a chip on the exterior lip, along with minor chips along the lid-seating area, while the included plastic lid shows age-appropriate wear. It is accompanied by a substantial cast-metal “Cressman’s Counsellor” 5¢ cigar cutter, manufactured by Allen R. Cressman’s Sons in Philadelphia, which measures 6.75″ W x 5.5″ D x 3″ H. The cutter remains functional and retains a robust, industrial aesthetic. The lot includes approximately 14 vintage cigars of varying conditions, adding to its display appeal.
