This collection features two distinct vintage pieces: a Wyandotte “China Clipper” tin airplane and a separate, belt-driven factory toy assembly mounted on a blue painted wooden base. The “China Clipper” airplane, marked “PAA” (Pan American Airways), showcases classic lithographed tin construction characteristic of Wyandotte Toys, a prolific manufacturer based in Wyandotte, Michigan, known for their mid-20th-century affordable stamped metal toys. The companion belt-driven factory display features red-painted metal components (machinery and pulleys) set upon a worn blue wooden board, suggesting a mechanical educational or display toy likely from a similar era. Both items show significant signs of age and play wear; the airplane exhibits paint loss, oxidation, and surface scratches consistent with vintage tin toys, while the wooden base has chipped paint and the machinery displays patina and surface rust.
