Description
This assortment includes approximately 18 miniature musical novelty items alongside an extensive archive of event ephemera focused on the Musical Box Society International (MBSI) and the Automatic Musical Instrument Collectors’ Association (AMICA). A standout piece is the custom-built, multi-section musical carousel from the 1976 MBSI Anaheim show, which features individual wind-up musical movements for its several sections. The collection also comprises the “Organ Rally” straw hat, event ribbons from the 1980s and 90s, Wabash, Indiana event posters, organ data documentation, various wooden novelty boxes, pins, and fans. The items are generally in good vintage condition; the carousel displays some age-related wear, and a portion of its ornate façade has detached but is included with the piece for potential restoration.
