Description
Manufactred by the Operators Piano Company, Chicago, IL, Serial #27782, piano with mandolin attachment and two ranks of pipes (open flutes and violin pipes), and art glass. Plays style “O” music rolls. Older restoration, plays weak.. Looks to be mechanically complete. Rough original ivory keys. Art glass is cracked but no missing pieces. The piano has severe structural issues along bottom back and soundboard issues on the back as well.
Previously owned by a friend of Ed Fryer, this piano came from Fleming, NJ. The friend once built it up to be an Orchestrion before taking the accompaniments off and reinstalling the original top. See video at https://youtu.be/kMGL0sLxIS0
