Description
This piece serves as the primary cabinet for a classic arcade machine, manufactured by the International Mutoscope Reel Co. of New York, synonymous with early 20th-century boardwalk entertainment. The industrial cast metal housing retains its original deep blue finish, exhibiting significant vintage character through widespread paint loss, surface abrasions, and scattered oxidation. Notably, this example includes the functional original key for the side-hinged access door, allowing for secure opening and closing. The unit also retains its iconic viewing hood and internal electrical socket assembly.
