Description
This iconic, blue-painted metal Adams Chewing Gum vending machine is a quintessential piece of Americana, reflecting the mid-20th-century aesthetic of small-town general stores and soda fountains. Designed to hold four distinct columns of gum, the device prominently features the classic “Adams Chewing Gum: A Flavor for Every Taste” decal. The piece features a rugged metal housing and a coin-operated plunger mechanism intended to dispense individual packs. Condition-wise, the unit shows significant signs of age and handling, including paint chips, surface rust, and wear throughout. Notably, the front glass panel is broken, and the internal locking mechanism is currently missing, allowing the front panel to open freely for internal access.
