Description
This striking pair of tall, electrified candlesticks features a classic tiered baluster design with intricate repoussé-style floral and geometric patterns throughout the stems and flared bases. Likely of Mid-Century Middle Eastern or South Asian origin, these pieces offer the grand presence of traditional altar prickets without the immense weight of solid casting, utilizing a lighter-weight brass construction that has been hand-chased for deep texture. The fixtures are topped with realistic faux-candle sleeves and are currently wired with exposed leads at the base. Both pieces show a warm aged patina with minor surface oxidation, small scuffs, and fraying to the electrical cords which will require professional inspection or rewiring. H 38″, W 8″, D 8″.
