Description
This is an original 1968 Columbia Pictures promotional lobby still for the Matt Helm film The Wrecking Crew, featuring Dean Martin and Sharon Tate. This specific piece is a unique find for Hollywood character actor enthusiasts as it is personally inscribed “To Hollywood, Best Wishes, Lynn Borden.” Borden, perhaps best known for her role in the TV series Hazel, appears in this film as “Miss Long Distance” (uncredited). This item captures the height of the 1960s “spy-fi” aesthetic and serves as a wonderful piece of cinema history from the Irving Allen production. The photo is in good vintage condition with minor edge toning and a small corner crease on the upper left, typical of authentic studio-distributed materials.
