Description
This is a classic piece of broadcasting history featuring the legendary “Voice of Hollywood,” Gary Owens. Best known for his droll, baritone delivery on Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In, Owens is captured here in a quintessential 1970s-era NBC promotional headshot, complete with his trademark hand-to-ear pose and oversized spectacles. The portrait is personally inscribed “To Hollywood Blvd Cinema, Best Always” and signed in bold black felt tip. The item consists of the 8×10 photograph housed in a contemporary black ribbed wooden frame under glass. The photo remains in excellent condition with crisp contrast, though the frame shows minor shelf wear and light dusting. H 12″, W 10″, D 1″
