Description
This is a captivating piece of Hollywood history featuring a black and white photograph of Rita Moreno and George Chakiris posing with their Academy Awards for the 1961 film West Side Story. Both actors have signed the photo in black felt-tip ink with personalized inscriptions: “For Hollywood – yes! Rita Moreno” and “For Hollywood!! George Chakiris.” The signatures are bold and clear against the mid-century formal wear of the subjects. The item is housed in a contemporary tiered black wooden frame under glass.
