Description
This set of six ornate architectural appliques includes four serpentine dragons and two multi-sided floral medallions, all exhibiting a rich, antiqued gold-tone finish. As a collector of high-end decorative hardware, I recognize these as high-quality resin or composite castings, likely mid-to-late 20th-century Hollywood Regency or Chinoiserie style imports. The dragons feature intricate scale work and traditional scrolling “cloud” motifs, while the medallions center on a sunburst or chrysanthemum-like floral boss surrounded by acanthus leaf-inspired flourishes. The set appears to be in very good vintage condition, showing only minor surface dust in the recessed areas and no significant chips or cracks visible. Dragon: H 7″, W 18″, D 1″.
