Description
A striking example of a Moorish or Moroccan-style hanging lantern, featuring a central hexagonal body with vibrant red, amber, and blue slag glass panels. The fixture is flanked by four cylindrical, perforated metal “towers” that create a beautiful dappled light effect when illuminated. Its exotic aesthetic, complete with decorative tassels and a heavy hanging chain, suggests a mid-20th-century piece designed for a themed lounge or “den” atmosphere. The item shows some surface oxidation on the metalwork and dust accumulation consistent with age; the glass appears intact without major cracks, though the hanging tassels show some fraying.
