Description
This Victorian-era grouping features a “Gem Silver Co.” quadruple-plate coffee pot with floral engravings and a shell-motif spout. Included is a William Rogers and son’s quadruple silver plated sugar bowl featuring a bird final lid and 12 spool brackets around the rim, a “WR New York” footed tray with wheat motifs, and a pressed glass jar with a “National Silver Plate A.1.” spoon. These pieces reflect the detailed craftsmanship of early American silver plate. Condition is fair; significant tarnish, oxidation, and plating wear are present consistent with age, though the glass remains intact. Coffee Pot: H 12″, W 10.5″, D 10.5″. Bird sugar bowl: H 9.25″, W 8.5″, D 8.5″. Tray: H 3.75″, W 6.5″, D 5″. Glass Jar: H 4.75″, W 4.5″, D 4.5″: spoon 8” long.
