Description
An eight-piece porcelain cider or wine set featuring pieces from Limoges and Haviland France, each hand-painted with lush berry and grape vine motifs. The set includes a large footed punch or centerpiece bowl, a tall handled ewer with a stopper, a circular serving tray, and five small matching cups or tumblers. Several pieces are artist-signed “C. Winkel” and dated 1909 or 1910. The porcelain displays a soft gradient background in shades of green, cream, and pink with gilded rims and accents. Overall condition is very good with some minor surface wear to the gilding on high-contact areas and light scuffing on the undersides consistent with age; no visible chips or cracks are noted.
