Description
This charming assembly features ten porcelain pieces decorated with classic “Merry Monk” motifs. The set includes three scalloped-edge plates with green shaded rims depicting monks in various poses, six small mugs with transfer-ware imagery, and a whimsical monk-form creamer. The mugs are marked “Germany,” while the plates bear the “E.L.P. Co” shield mark. This style evokes the jovial aesthetic of early 20th-century European kitchenware. The condition is generally good; however, the creamer shows significant chipping along the top rim and base, and the mugs exhibit minor wear to the tinted rims and localized crazing.
