Description
US military proof marked Remington M11 Factory Riot shotgun. Caliber 12ga. Factory cylinder bore marked barrel and receiver both have US Flaming bomb inspection marks. Wood is presumed to be original but may be replacement due to being rolled checkering style. Shotgun has been modified post war by having a PolyChoke added to end of barrel for hunting use. Still very nice representative of WW2 Issued shotgun that was given another life as a hunting gun. Gun’s finish is well worn with frosting and pitting from years of use. Wood is cracked on forend as is common, and stock has shrank from drying out and has replacement buttplate. Good start to a military collection. See photos.
